If any liquid has got on woolen clothes, you need to act quickly, no matter whether you are going to remove the stain on your own or give it for dry cleaning. Keep in mind: wool is one of the most stable natural fabrics due to the protective layer which wards off dust and mud.
If dye-staff gets on woolen clothes immediately apply clean dry absorbing cloth on the spot. Never pour warm water on the greasy stain.
If you want to do cleaning on your own, you have to follow to certain recommendations in removing stains. It is recommended to check first how the fabric structure and its color react to cleaning. A crease or a seam fit this purpose the best. After cleaning rinse the Article with cold water.
Alcohol beverages (apart from red wine): Carefully remove the spilled substance with absorbing cloth. Wipe the stain with a tampon moistened with a mixture of warm water and ethylene spirit in equal proportion.
Black coffee, tea: Mix spirit and vinegar in equal proportions. Get the stain wet with a tampon moistened in this mixture, then carefully wipe it out with an absorbing cloth.
Blood: Promptly get the stain wet with a moistened tampon and remove the excess of blood. Then carefully wipe it out with a cloth moistened with undiluted spirit.
Butter, oil, sauce: If something greasy has dropped on the cloth, first of all remove the excess of the staff using spoon or knife. Then get the stain wet with a tampon moistened with a liquid for dry cleaning.
Chocolate, coffee with milk, tea with milk: Get the edges of the stain wet with a tampon moistened with white spirit; keep on as in the case of removing black coffee stains. Carefully wipe it out with a cloth moistened with white spirit. Repeat the cleaning once again, this time wiping it with a cloth moistened with diluted vinegar.
Fruits, juice, red wine: Promptly get the stain wet with a tampon moistened with a mixture of ethylene spirit and water in proportion 3 to 1.
Grass: Thoroughly wash it with solid soap or wipe it carefully with a cloth moistened with ethylene spirit.
Inks: Keep wiping the stain with a cloth moistened with white spirit. Repeat again using cloth moistened with white vinegar or ethylene spirit.
Lipstick, cosmetic cream, footwear cream: Carefully wipe the stain out with a cloth moistened with white spirit or turpentine.
Urine: The stain has to be removed as soon as possible. Remove the excess of the liquid with a tampon, then cleanse it with undiluted vinegar. Keep on as in the case of removing blood stains.
Wax: Scrape the wax as much as possible. Apply absorbing paper on the stain and iron it gently (with warm mode set). Do not wash.
